Question

QUESTION With reference to the former Labor Government’s Putting Queensland Kids First Strategy, and the Connecting2U Service in Children’s Health Queensland— Will the Minister provide an update on the initiative to expand weekly text messaging to support child development and parental wellbeing? ANSWER I am advised that the Connecting2u program is being successfully implemented across Queensland. The registration target set for 2024-25 was to recruit 16,000 parents and carers. I am pleased to advise that prior to the completion of the financial year, more than 17,500 parents and carers were registered and receiving child development and parenting support information.
