Question

With reference to Priority Action 9 of the ShapingSEQ 2023 Update which commits the government to deliver Stage 1 of the Resilience Policy Maturity Framework – the Review Pathway – including hazard and risk mapping and the identification of ‘no-go’ development areas to inform refinement of the Urban Footprint— Will the Deputy Premier confirm (a) whether the Review Pathway is still being progressed and will be delivered in full under this government, (b) the month or quarter of 2025 that Stage 1 will be completed, (c) if a specific month or quarter cannot be provided, what is the indicative timeframe for delivery, (d) that no further changes to the SEQ Urban Footprint will be made until the Resilience Policy Maturity Framework is completed and its findings, particularly the identification of high-risk or ‘no-go’ areas are fully considered and (e) whether the government remains committed to embedding hazard and risk mapping in regional planning to support climate adaptation, risk mitigation, and development certainty?
