Question

With reference to STAS providing transport funding for primary school students who live more than 3.2 km from the nearest state primary school, while secondary school students must live more than 4.8 km from the nearest state secondary school to receive subsidised travel, and with 50 cent public transport fares continuing to alleviate cost of living costs for families— Will the Minister commit to reviewing this anomaly to ensure both primary and secondary school students receive equal subsidised travel, particularly in regional Queensland?
