With reference to the consultation paper titled ‘Opportunities to generate further competition in the grocery sector through Queensland’s planning framework’, released on 29 September 2024 in response to the Supermarket Pricing Select Committee Inquiry— Will the Deputy Premier advise (a) the total number of submissions received during the consultation period, (b) a breakdown of submissions by stakeholder category (e.g. local governments, supermarket operators, independent retailers, planning professionals, community members), (c) the proportion of submissions expressing support, opposition, or conditional support for the proposed planning reforms, (d) the current status of the proposed reforms, including whether they have been finalised, implemented, are still under consideration, paused or discontinued and (e) how and when the outcomes of the consultation will be communicated to stakeholders and the public?
