Question

With reference to sporting clubs in the Cooper Electorate, most if not all of which are over-subscribed, resulting in children and adults either not participating in sport or traveling substantial distances to train and play— Will the Minister advise what work is being undertaken by the government to (a) engage with sporting associations to identify field growth opportunities and (b) ensure that the Education Queensland policy to ensure ovals are made available to sporting clubs is being operationalised?
