Question

QUESTION With reference to the Queensland Cancer Centre Project— Will the Minister advise (a) the date of the last client meeting between the current head contractor and Queensland Health (including Health Infrastructure Queensland and Metro North Hospital and Health Service) and (b) the dates and amounts of progress payments made to the head contractor since commencement of the project? ANSWER I can advise the Member that Queensland Health officials regularly meet and communicate with relevant contractors as part of health infrastructure project management. I can also advise the Member that the amount and timings of progress payments are made in accordance with the milestones and agreements between Queensland Health and relevant contractors. To provide minute information about meeting dates and times and invoicing would be an unreasonable diversion of resources and subject to commercial-in-confidence considerations.
