Question

QUESTION With reference to the Office of the Health Ombudsman— Will the Minister advise as at the latest pay period ending date, or closest reportable date, the total FTE and headcount in table format, reported separately by (a) executives, (b) investigators, (c) case managers and (d) support and administration staff? ANSWER I am advised that, as at the fortnight ending 2 May 2025, the Office of the Health Ombudsman’s (OHO) FTE and headcount for requested categories is as set out in the table below: Table 1: OHO FTE and Headcount by executives, investigators, case managers and support and administration staff. Executives 6FTE, 6Headcount; Investigators 30.6FTE, 32Headcount; Case Managers 0FTE, 0Headcount; Support and administration staff 27.78FTE, 28Headcount. Data Caveats: Support and administration category includes all corporate services functions, embedded administrative officers within the OHO, and positions that provide advice or support to divisions (e.g., clinical advice). This category does not include roles that assist in managing complaints, such as intake, assessment, referrals, resolution, conciliation, legal matters, immediate action, and monitoring functions. The OHO does not have any positions titled case manager.
