Question

With reference to the AI auto-detection camera technology used to identify seatbelt infringements on Queensland roads— Will the Treasurer advise (a) what was the rate of false positives and false negatives in accuracy testing data of the automated system supplied to the government, (b) what proportion of fines issued using the technology are (i) contested, (ii) contested successfully and (iii) do these figures conform and (c) what are the ‘business rules’ which are used by the officers within Queensland Revenue Office to adjudicate whether an offence has occurred?
