Woolcock Street and the North Townsville Road corridor

Question

With reference to Woolcock Street and the North Townsville Road corridor, and noting that Options Analysis has been completed, the Department of Transport and Main Roads is currently negotiating land acquisitions with property owners, and the next critical step is securing funding for the business case— Will the Minister commit to allocating funding for this business case in the 2025–26 State Budget to ensure that Townsville’s northern suburbs road network receives the necessary infrastructure investment?
