QUESTION Will the Minister advise, as at 1 November 2024 and as at 1 March 2025, the number of vacant positions in the Queensland Ambulance Service that (a) were filled with a permanent contract, (b) were filled with a temporary contract and (c) remain vacant and advertised? ANSWER As at 1 November 2024, the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) had 77.24 full-time equivalent (FTE) vacancies, when compared to the total budgeted FTE positions. As at 1 March 2025, the QAS had 22.10 FTE vacancies, when compared to the total budgeted FTE positions. The QAS does not have any vacancies that are filled with a permanent or temporary contract. The QAS undertakes a continuous cycle of recruitment for all vacancies.
