Question

QUESTION Will the Minister advise the average wait time for a patient to receive an appointment for surgery on the elective surgery waitlist (in table format, reported separately by quarter) since 1 July 2023? ANSWER Elective surgery activity and performance data is reported publicly on the Queensland Health Our Performance website, at www.performance.health.qld.gov.au. Statewide data, including the number of people on the waiting list and the number of elective surgeries performed (www.performance.health.qld.gov.au/statewide- performance/planned-care/planned-surgery-activity) and the waiting time to access planned surgeries (www.performance.health.qld.gov.au/statewide- performance/planned-care/planned-surgery-performance), are reported in table format, separately by month and urgency category. This information is also available for each hospital and health service (www.performance.health.qld.gov.au/view-performance-by-hhs) and for each reporting facility (www.performance.health.qld.gov.au/view-performance-by-facility).
