Question

With reference to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority’s (APRA) 2026 Mind the Gap report finding Queensland is projected to have one of the highest rates of uninsured households in Australia, with more than 30 per cent of households potentially uninsured by 2050 and regional communities disproportionately impacted due to rising flood and cyclone risk and in light of these findings, and growing concerns about rising insurance premiums— Will the Premier advise what the Crisafulli Government is doing to reduce insurance premiums and improve insurance affordability for Queensland households?
