Question

With reference to the Deputy Premier’s statements that the Crisafulli Government will use memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and contractual arrangements with legal obligations between developers and Economic Development Queensland to secure over 20,500 homes for first-home buyers as part of the $2.4b ‘Commonwealth-State Infrastructure Activation Fund to support delivery of more than 51,368 homes across the Priority Development Areas of Waraba, Mount Peter and Southern Thornlands— Will the Deputy Premier advise (a) whether the Crisafulli Government is willing to use similar MOUs and contractual arrangements to secure affordable housing outcomes within other PDA’s and (b) if so, in which PDAs this approach is currently being used?
