Question

With reference to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority’s (APRA) 2026 Mind the Gap report finding Queensland is projected to have one of the highest rates of uninsured households in Australia, and noting the Crisafulli Government is currently undertaking regional plan reviews and considering the release of additional land for urban development— Will the Deputy Premier advise (a) what assessment is being undertaken of current and future flood risk, insurance affordability and climate resilience before additional land is identified for urban development through regional plan reviews and (b) how is the Crisafulli Government ensuring that regional land use planning decisions do not worsen insurance affordability, disaster vulnerability and financial risk for Queensland communities?
