With reference to the Crisafulli Government’s commitment to establish 1.88m hectares of new protected areas in its first term— Will the Minister advise (a) when the government will publicly report on progress to date, (b) why has no protected area growth report been published for 2024–25, despite annual reporting by DETSI since the release of the Protected Areas Strategy 2020– 2030 and (c) how many hectares of new and/or expanded protected areas were created in the government’s first year in office (reported separately for public and private protected areas)?
