Question

With reference to a lift at Central Station (Platform 5/6) being replaced— Will the Minister advise (a) when the Minister was informed of the lift being closed for an extended period of time, (b) did the Minister approve the closure, (c) when will the new lift be operational, (d) have any changes to rail services been made to accommodate people with a disability or other people needing a lift, to allow them to still access Central station and (e) why this work cannot be expedited to be completed before the advertised ‘early 2027’ finish date?
