Question

With reference to the Property Council of Australia’s 2026 Queensland Hotels Outlook report, which calls for incentives including relief from the Foreign Land Tax Surcharge (FLTS) and Additional Foreign Acquirer Duty (AFAD) to stimulate hotel development ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games— Will the Treasurer advise (a) whether the Crisafulli Government is considering any changes to FLTS or AFAD settings for hotel developments and (b) if not, why not?
