Question

Will the Minister advise (a) if the Department of Transport and Main Roads considers Burpengary Train Station ‘suitable' for investment to expand commuter parking given its proximity to the over 6,000 new residents expected to call Kinma Valley home, as well as the numerous new estates on the Burpengary- Morayfield South border where thousands more locals are moving in and (b) whether a business case has been carried out for a parking expansion at Burpengary Station, noting the increased patronage by my community on the rail network due to the introduction of the 50 cent fare policy by the former Labor Government?
