Question

With reference to some previously lawful e-bikes no longer permitted to be used on public roads and paths under the new e-mobility laws— Will the Minister advise (a) whether the Queensland Government will consider establishing a buy-back, trade-in or compensation scheme for owners of e-bikes purchased in good faith that are no longer able to be lawfully used for their intended purpose under the new laws and (b) if not, why not?
