Question

With reference to the increase in wildlife deaths including multiple koala fatalities reported within the Noosa region over the last month— Will the Minister advise (a) what work is being undertaken to address the identified hotspots within the Noosa, Gympie and Nambour Electorates, (b) what increases in grants or assistance programs are being made available to local governments, community organisations, wildlife groups or research organisations to reduce these deaths and manage injured wildlife and (c) what has been allocated to repair broken sections of fauna fencing along the M1 and major corridors?
