With reference to reports that Queensland sources more than 50 percent of its daily fresh milk requirements from Southern States— Will the Minister advise what steps the government is taking to ensure that the existing dairy industry in the Far North, which faces higher freight costs for essential inputs and transport, remain viable and are able to survive, grow and prosper across the entire supply chain, from paddock to plate?
