Question

With reference to Ipswich City Council’s draft Western Growth Corridor Structure Plan for Walloon, Thagoona and Rosewood, which provides for up to 20,000 additional homes by 2046 and forecasts approximately 58,900 residents across the corridor by 2041— Will the Minister advise whether the Department of Transport and Main Roads has commenced planning to accommodate this additional growth, including (a) what assessments have been undertaken of future road capacity and public transport needs, (b) what infrastructure upgrades have been identified and (c) the anticipated funding and delivery timeframes?
